Bose Portable Sounddock Static Noise ... is it Normal?
If I get close enough to the defice, I always hear static coming out of my Bose Portable SoundDock even when its off and charging, is this normal?

That's a pain in the ass if you have static all the time.
This is not normal -so I'd try moving it somewhere else - another section of your room, and also another power outlet.

If not, Bose has a great return policy!-30days... or craigslist / ebay has lots of buyers for the Heavily marketed items like bose!
