Program Bose Commands into Sony Remote?

How to program the Bose Home Theatre remote commands into the Sony RM-AX4000 remote. Currently the Sony remote does not recognise the commands sent by the Bose remote.

Thinkenstein is right in that the Bose remote is RF. You can, however, learn the IR codes from your Bose. First, if you are looking at your bose receiver (LIfestyles or 321 for sure) from the front, at the very bottom of the front is a black cover. It starts from the front and goes underneath. If you pop the cover off, you will see 5 IR blasters. Put your Bose into teach mode and position your learning remote in front of the blasters. The Bose will spit the IR signals out of the blasters. You will have to leave the cover off to control the unit with IR, as these are also the receivers. You should be able to find the teach mode in the menu. If you have a problem finding it, the manual will walk you through getting it in the proper mode.
