just bought a 32gb itouch, im thinking about a good speaker to go with it. any suggestions?
current choices are B&W Zeppelin Speakers and Bose SoundDock Portable
I would suggest listening to both these before you buy of course.
However, the B&W is overpriced (the Bose too) for what it is...a iPod dock. It's $999 AU RRP here, I think that is way too much for a iPod speaker.
You can buy a proper 5.1 setup with an amplifier, or maybe you would be better off buying PC speakers and a iPod dock. You didn't say any price range, so I will go with a wide range.
Logitech X-230 is a good budget set ($100 or less),
Harmon Kardon Soundsticks II are good sounding and I have heard good things about them, they are around $300.
If you want to spend around $500, go for the Logitech Z5500, a friend of mine has them, they are excellent for music (and just about everything), massive bass, really clear sound etc. I actually found these for $350 at a shop in Sydney
