My adapter on the Bose Sound dock system broke off. Can I buy another one somewhere?

So basically that's my question.
The speaker is not damaged at all, 100% working.
The part where you plug in the IPod snapped, and the entire part is not completely attached to the speaker itself, so I'm thinking that it comes off...?
Where can I find another Bose adapter?

Hmmm- it's gonna be hard to get relacement parts for any Bose product.
They do not sell any of their parts... Instead they will have you send in your defective or damaged product, and charge you a fee +parts... Especially if your waranty is done.

You can try eBay or craigslist to find parts- but because of bose's way of dealing with their parts (or lack of parts) you'd be lucky to find anything.
Don't mean to sound negative, but it's the truth: they will not sell parts, not even their cables when you need to replace anything. This often leaves the customer feeling abandoned: having spent a premium just to have an expensive paperweight.

If you are interested in the reason for this... It is because Bose enjoys sealing uo all their consumer products: notice that you cannot inspect any of their internals- can't see their drivers, can't see their amps, microchips, enclosure raw material- none is to be seen. Everything is covered!

+when someone opens uo their products and takes pictures...and post it up on the net, Bose works hard to take the pictures down: by stating it is a copyright law. They even take down online auctions and state that it is infringing on trade rules...
All this effort to hide the fact that the sum of all of their parts do NOT quantify/qualify it's prices.
Cheap paper drivers, cheap plastic/fibreboard(ldf) enclosures-- all locked up behind stapled and glued in pretty metal grills...and plastic veneer, covering everything up.

So sell their parts? And give away their secret? Never says them!!!
