I'm looking for a pair of earbuds for under $100 as a gift?

I'm looking for comfort and durability, more than anything else, then of course sound quality. No over the ear or headphones please. He already has the Bose but they always fall out of his ear and the wire is breaking. Mostly for his iPod for the subway commute to work.

I got Ultimate Ears Metro.Fi 100v . They were very reasonably priced. I paid $40 at the Denver Airport. I bought them to use with my iPhone. There is a different model for the iPod because the microphone isn't needed. Also, they have a new model Metro.Fi 2.

The new model Metro.Fi 2 costs around $79.99 on their website (ultimateears.com).

They sound great, have cloth wrapped cords so they don't tangle and come with a case.
