I have a Bose Companion 5, can I connect my TV and use these speakers instead of the lcd's terrible ones?
I bought Bose Companion 5 and have a samsung TV, which I use as a computer monitor also. Is there a way to use the Bose as the tv's main audio and just disable the tv audio?
You need a headphone or RCA audio output from the TV, which would plug into he 3.5mm headphone input of the bose control pod. Depending on what (if any) output you have on the TV you will have to buy a cable to interface the 2 devices.

Apparently the control pod has an optical port also, so if you had an optical output from the TV, you could connect that way as well.
