Shure E2C or Bose Triport earphones?

My husband is wanting a new pair of earbuds for his ipod. I've been reading some different reviews on the Shure E2C and the Bose Triport. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If money is not an issue, I'd probably go with the Bose Triport for the better Bass. However, the Shure E2C are 1/2 that price, so I ended up getting the E2C's instead ($130 vs $60 on Amazon.com)
