Is there any physicist or scientist who can answer this question?
I have just got an idea which might be right at least mathematically..... or some one might have proposed it already... I don't know... but it goes as follows....
does electromagnetic radiation travels in space and time looses its energy causes universe to expand...
Sun produces lots of energy and looses it matter, also spins on its own axis, membranes of gravity are warped up into these huge bodies stretching the fabric of space and time.... the stretch is filled by EM radiation loosing its energy turning it into dark matter or energy. (which cannot be conceived with our own technology or eyes).... so universe could be fluctuating with dark matter or dark energy.....so if we compress space and time, the energy of whole universe could increase.....i.e. the reverse process of expansion.
Is bose-einstein condensate is cold dark matter or energy?
if that's the case...all the known matter and energy in space and time could be fluctuating between dark matter and energy...

It is possible that the redshifts of distant galaxies are caused, not by their radial velocities (via the doppler effect), but by their light losing energy to gases in the intergalactic medium. If this was the case, it would mean that the universe is not expanding at all.
