Do you think BOSE sound systems are really worth the money?

The sales people in the store seem to think so. However, I think it is the stupidest thing in the world to pay $4000.00 for a theater system.

I have one of the little bedside models that are much cheaper and I really like it. Whether a system is worth what you pay depends mostly on whether the better sound is worth that to you, and the other aspect is how durable the set is, how long it will last without giving you trouble. Clearly you have decided that the BOSE is not worth the money to you.
