Why has my Bose Docking Station stopped playing sound?
It's a Series II that still charges the iphone, but the green light that normally only comes on when the remote is operated is now on all the time. There is no obvious damage but the there is no output. I checked the line in option and that doesn't work either. The remore does not work with regards to on or off commands either.
What happens if you run the Soundock off of battery power? Also, is it possible the green light is from a stuck button on the remote? Try turning the volume up and down using the buttons on the side. Try taking out the battery and then putting it back in while unplugged. Remember to take advantage of your warranty.
