2000 Nissan Maxima cd player head unit replacement?
Hi, I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima. The cd player is about to die on the car . I would like to replace the factory head unit with another factory head unit. The one in the car right now is the stock (non-bose) head unit. I was wondering is I could replace this unit with the BOSE head unit. I know someone that has one and could sell it to me for a good price. I am not sure that this would work though since it is a BOSE unit. Does anyone have any ideas? thanks
The Bose head unit will not work in your car.
The Bose head unit is made to work with the Bose speakers and the Bose amplifier that are not installed in your vehicle.
So either use an aftermarket head unit.
Or find another factory unit that works elsewhere.
