Have a killed my computer speakers?

I have Bose Companion 2 speakers on my computer (the older model). The other day while cleaning out my computer area, I inadvertently mixed up power cords when hooking everything back up. I hooked the speakers up to the wrong 120V AC adapter (they run on this as well, hence the confusion). I powered up the system and noticed that the speakers weren't working. It took a little time, but I finally figured out they were hooked up to the wrong plug. I changed everything around, and the speakers still will not work at all. Even if I hook my iPod up to them I get nothing.

I am pretty sure the speakers are shot. After reading my owners manual it shows that even though the AC pack is 120v all it does is change the AC to DC. It specifically says in the manual that using a different power pack than the one included could ruin your speakers.

That being said I think you could probably get them replaced at the Bose store in pretty much any state because they have very good customer service. Most likely if they are not out of warranty you can get a replacement.
