What PC speakers should I buy?

I'm looking to spend up to 300 on PC speakers, although I'm willing to spend a little more as my budget is flexible.
Currently the only hifi rig I own is a bose surround sound system which is being used elsewhere in the house and I'm presently looking to upgrade my desktop speakers which are currently a gigatech 2.1. The large sub and reasonably loud volume capabilities have kept me using these bad boys for a while now, but they really lack a sort of sound quality I'm interested in as both a musician and music connoisseur.

My recommendation is that buy the speakers Creative or LOGITECH, these are very good
