What do I have to have to insure I'll get radio reception in the Appalachians?
I'm on a hill, but surrounded by mountains. Want a Bose but it depends on how much additional money is involved. Fixed income.
I'm assuming you are talking about FM reception. The best way to ensure you are going to get the best reception is to buy a radio that has an antenna connection for an external antenna. Then you will need to buy an outside antenna and install it on the roof. If that is not feasible, then get a FM antenna for indoors. What I'm saying is don't depend on the radios own antenna if you want to receive far away stations.
