My itouch ( 4 generation) dosent charge or play music on my Bose dock. Why?
I had a 4g itouch before, and it worked fine with it. I lost it, so I got a new one. My sister has 3G, and it works fine with the dock. My new one does not work with it. The Apple people were no help. I reseted my itouch and updated it. Still won't work. Why?
It sounds there might be something wrong with the dock connector on your Touch. I would try to connect it to another dock if available and see if it works. There are times when a device can work normally for first-party applications and not with third-party. This can even happen with Sound Dock which is certified "made for iPod". If the device works with another dock then you know it's some sort of communication or fit issue between your Touch and the Sound Dock. There is very little you can do in that case.
