What are the best earphones to get--price/quality?

I'm looking into getting new earphones on eBay or off Craigslist/Kijiji. I'd spend about $60 (sellers sell new ones for this price). Are Monster, Bose, Sennheiser or something else worth the price and which are better? What else should I look into? I'd also rather get some that are compatible with the iPhone (that I can talk into), but that's not that big of an issue. Thanks
