Beyerdynamic HS 600 or Bose X?
Which would you recommend?? I was set on the Bose X until I found out about the beyerdynamic /:S I'm a private pilot set on getting my CPL and in need of a pro headset I'm not phased about the money too much more so the quality and build.
Any ideas??
Not having used the HS600, I can't offer a direct comparison. The Bose X is excellent, but check to make sure it has all the features you want. Compared to the latest crop of headsets, the Bose X is light on extras. Pilots have reported some issues with the long-term durability.
Also be sure to check out the Lightspeed Zulu. Good features, in the same ballpark as the Bose X for comfort and noise reduction (pilots debate which is better), and the metal construction seems more durable than the largely plastic Bose X.
