Aviation Headset Question?
I am a new FO fresh out of training and my new cockpit is all in all pretty quiet. My BOSE that i used flight instructing is kind of overkill now. What's the best bang for my buck on a lightweight headset?
I am retired now -
I wore a Plantronics MS-50 for my entire airline career -
Just with a little "stick it in your ear" insert -
And a mini-microphone -
No big headset please...!
Old timers like me do not mind using hand held mikes either -
Do not need a press-to-talk -
That is good for one-pilot planes -
With airlines, one guy flies, the other talks -
Lost my first Plantronics in 1980 or so, and bought a second one -
Price was less than $30, maybe $25...
