why is there a delay on my new tv?
I just bought a Vizio LCD flat screen and I already have a Bose stereo that I use to listen to the tv and movies. On both tv and dvds, there is a considerable delay. This even happens when using the Wii (which is important, for games like tennis, a delay totally screws it up). My bf thought an HDMI cable would fix the problem, but apparently the bose only has a place for the red/white/yellow cables. There's no such thing as a cable with HDMI on one end and those colored cords on the other and I guess they don't make converters for those either. What can I do? I JUST bought this TV and the delays make it almost unbearable to watch.

Find out if your TV has a game mode, this will disable all the extra video processing the TV does and this should reduce the lag. Sony and Sharp usually have the lowest lag time for video games.
