how do I fix my problems with my 5.1 surround?
I have a 60" Mitsubishi 1080p 3D ready DLP television, a PS3 and, Time Warner HDTV DVR all connected via HDMI. I have a Harman Kardon AVR65 Receiver connected to the TV via digital input output cord I have my Bose sub connected to receiver with all corresponding hookups in the correct places and 5 Bose Direct/Reflecting cube speakers connected to the sub. everything is wired correctly and has been triple checked in that regard. My problem is that when I use the THX optimizer feature on one of my dvds to test the surround it goes through each channel one at a time and all my front channels seem to work correctly but when it gets to the rear channels sound comes through the front as well as the rear instead of just the rear. Any ideas as to what my problem is will be appreciated.
I have tried it on all available settings including but not limited to theater and, pro logic.
You have to connect optical cable directly from DVR and PS3 to receiver, not from TV.
