Why is my iphone 4 not connecting with my Wave connect kit for iPhone and iPod from Bose?
I recently bought the Wave music system from Bose aswell as the docking unit for iphones and ipods to go with it. However, a problem I'm having is the docking unit will not expect my iphone and keeps saying the device is not optimised for use with the iphone.
Does anyone know where I'm going wrong?? My iphone doesn't really like to play in many docking units so I think this may be a problem with the iphone as opposed to the Wave System.
As an end note, the description of the docking unit on the bose website clearly states that it is suitable for use with all iphone models so it's definitely not that they're not compatible.
Any help/advice greatly appreciated.
Apple changes the way iphones and ipods connect to docks when they release the new ones. Making you have to buy new docks and connectors every time. A dock or cable has to specifically say it is compatible with your device."suitable for use with all iphone models '' just means all devices made up until the dock was manufactured.
