How do you open the subwoofer for a Bose Companion 3?

My Companion 3 system is not working and I have a hunch that I just need to replace a fuse. I'm having a ton of trouble opening the subwoofer to find the fuse, however.

Umm... I'd suggest not trying that --- opening up the LDF-[low density fiberboard] will be disastrous... + alot of the panels are glued together.
I'd Highly doubt that a fuse is gone - but if so, any of the fuses and parts will be proprietary Bose - and bose will not sell any parts to the public. For their Consumer line products, they will not sell anything. They do want you to send your item into their repair shop.

I'd try sending it in for warranty work... as their service is top notch.
