bose companion 3 vs klipsch promedia 2.1 if price was taken out of the equation completely?

i am looking for which ones would have the longest life expectancy, which goes louder, which has a better bass, and which gives an over all better quality

If you want bass, that eliminates Bose right off the bat. Quality? again Bose is gone. Louder? Probably the Klipsch as they are known for their highly efficient speakers. Longest life? It's all low-end equipment not meant to last more than couple years anyway.
