Are the Bose Quiet Comfort 15 Headphones good?
I want to get some Bose Quiet Comfort 15 Headphones and i here they are really good but i am just not sure if $300 is a good value.
Depends if your looking for noise canceling headphones or if your looking for really superior sound quality. On the noise canceling front these are excellent and truly trump anything that is out there at the moment. I have these and love them just for their excellence in noise cancellation. The sound quality of these headphones are good but not phenomenal. There are other headphones out there right now which have far superior sound quality but lack the amazing noise reduction these headphones have. The ear cups are very soft and fit very comfortably around my ears. The protective case included with these headphones are able to withstand quite a bit due to their hard shell nature, as you would expect especially when you've got a $300 pair of headphones in them. The cord length is more then decent. A down side to these headphones is that without the AAA battery they are unusable, however I easily rectified this by placing a couple of spare AAA batteries in a compartment/pouch within the hard shell case. Other noise canceling headphones on the market right now are capable of being used without the battery e.g. Audio Technica ATH-ANC7B. All in all I found these headphones to be a sound investment and have been enjoying them ever since. I would recommend these headphones to anyone who travels or works in a noise environment.
