Bose Cinemate with both red and green flashing?

I moved my bose cinemate and now both the red and green lights are flashing on the control module. Bose says they can fix it for 75 bucks plus shipping it to them and I get a years warranty. Not a terrible deal really, but does anyone know if this is something simple like a fuse I could fix myself?

First thing to do is unplug it from power and let it sit for a few minutes. Sometimes that resets things.

First unplug the power cord, than unplug the middle connector that has the two screw on the side. Leave it unplug for one minute. After one minute plug the middle connector in first then the power cord. Push the top left button on your remote.

I have also heard that there is a defective part that could cause problems like this. You might be able to take it back to a Bose retail outlet and avoid the shipping charge.
