Is my boyfriend spoiled?
Here is a good example of why I think we might have a case of a super-spoiled child on our hands lol
He bought a really expensive laptop last year since his older one was getting slow. He also owns an iPod touch (which he plays from his BOSE stereo system!). YET, he still just HAD to have an iPAD, so his parents got him one for Xmas (along with a set of knives worth hundreds of dollars, clothes from Nordstrom, and a down comforter)
If we both own something, his version is ALWAYS much fancier than mine. I thought I had a nice alarm clock (I bought it for $80), but his parents got him one that costs $300!
He has the nicest clothes, the nicest cars, etc. He makes money, but not nearly enough to be able to afford all that on his own....so I assume rich mommy and daddy are helping him out...
I love him, but I can't help but be jealous of his life. I'm totally independent, but live in a dump.
I know how you feel. But don't be jealous, you're way more bada$$ than he is. Being completely independent is worth it, keep it up man!
