Would u buy this car?
My best friend wants to sell me his 2001 Nissan maxima 20th anniversary edition, that has just been sitting in his garage for most of this year since he now has a company car.
The maxima has leather, 19" wheels, body kit, dark grey paint, 104xxx miles, moonroof, 6 disc cd bose stereo, 3 L v6, auto, power everything. Sweet looking car.
Only thing is it didn't pass emissions. Said it needs a catalytic conv. 1800 bucks.
I've also heard repairs are pricey on maximas.
He will just let me take over payments, transfer it over. Still owes like 4400 bucks.
What do you think? 4400 a good deal?
So really, it's $6200 with the price of repairs?
The options you mentioned do very little to increase the value of the vehicle and the deal on the car is nothing special.
I would pass. Nothing tears apart a friendship faster than a car deal and one of the friends ending up unhappy.
