how do i hook up a cable box to a bose 123 surround sound system to my tv?
I've hooked my RCA cables from the cable box to the cbl/sat jacks in my bose system and I get sound. Then I've got another set of RCA cables hooked from my bose system TV jacks to my front video/audio jacks in my tv. I also have the same jacks in the back of my tv. I'm not getting my cable to come through to the TV. The cable is hooked up to my cable box from the wall. Any help would be appreciated!
are you getting picture from your tv? The easiest way to do this is (if it is not an hd box or hd tv) is to run the cable from the wall to the box. Then run a coax cable from the cable box that says "out to tv" to the tv. Now you will get picture and sound from your tv.
The next thing to do, is to keep your red and white cables hooked up from the cable box that says "audio out" to the cbl/sat input on the bose 321 system.
Where you said you have rca cables going from the bose system to the tv jacks on the front of the tv, you can get rid of those. you are hooking up an input to an input. its not doing anything.
If you hook it up like that, everything should work fine. you'll get picture and sound from your tv, and sound from your bose 321 system. if you have anymore questions, feel free to email me. i'll get back to you.
