Receiver for Bose home entertainment system?
I moved into a new house recently, and left in the living room was (minus a receiver/amplifier) a Bose Acoustimass 10 Series II sound system. I am looking to purchase one at my local best buy, but am confused about the required number of channels and watts and ohms and things I need to look for. Can someone please explain these terms to me or (even better) recommend a specific receiver for my system?
Sell the BOSE on Kijiji or some other local auction/listing site and use the money to buy some decent home theatre equipment.
BOSE sucks - http://www.firstadopter.com/fa/archives/001749.html
For the price you could sell the BOSE for, you could pick up a nice Onkyo receiver/speaker 7.1 package that will handily outperform the Acoustimass system.
