How to play audio from my computer to my ipod/iphone speakers?
Ok so i have a computer but the speakers suck. I have a bose that i bought for my ipod touch. I want the audio from my computer to stream over to my ipod touch either through bluetooth or wifi because my bose speakers are only made for ipod so i cant connect them to my computer. m computer is the latest imac btw and i also have a pc. However i dont think they have enough bass you now what i mean? if you could help i would greatly appreciate it XD ty ![]()
@mcdonaldcj i know about home sharing....i want to be able to lay an sound on my computer through my speakers...like if i was watching a youtube vid on my comp i wanted it to e able to play through my ipod which s connected to my speakers
if you have the latest iOS firmware, you can enable home sharing on your computer and iPod touch by the following method.
On your computer running iTunes 10.2: open iTunes, click on the Advanced menu bar, then click "turn on home sharing". enter in your Apple ID and password and you're almost good to go.
On your iPod touch/iPhone/iPad running iOS 4.3: Tap settings, tap muic and under "home sharing" tap next to Apple ID and enter in your ID, then tap password and enter in your password. Once you've done this, exit out of settings (the home button) then tap music, and along the black bottom bar, tap more, then find "shared" (usually the last option on the list). Then tap "xxx's Library" where xxx is the name of the library (for example, mine says "Corey's Library"). Wait for it to connect and you should be good to go.
Please note that both your iPod touch and your computer have to be running on the same internet network for this to work. This is the only way that i know of for this to work.
EDIT: ok.. now it makes sense.... one of the only ways i can think of for that to happen is for the speakers to have an "audio in" port, kinda like a headphone jack, one end would connect to your computer, and the other end would connect to the speakers... but based on your description of the speakers in your original details, i dont think they have that
