Should I get the Bose Soundlink or the Dre Beatbox ?x?

I am planning on buying a dock today. But, I am torn between the Bose Soundlink and the dre beat box. I like that the Bose is portable because of the lithium battery. It doesnt need to be plugged into the wall to listen to it. So you can take it anywhere. And I Like that it is Bluetooth. You do not have to dock your phone to be able to listen to music. But, I like the size of the beatbox. I feel it will give more volume, and more sound. The only downside to the beatbox is it is not portable, you have to plug it into the wall to use it. And you have to dock your phone to listen to music. I was hoping to get some opinions from people who owned either of these two units. I would greatly appreciate the assistance. I will be purchasing one of these two docs this afternoon. Thank you in advance for your help.

I hope I am not to late. I would choose the beatbox by Dr. Dre. I am not a fan of the Bose Soundlink. Its a neat package but fails to sonically impress. The Bose Sounddock 10 is a better comparison to the Beatbox and in the same price range. Its not portable or battery operated either, putting you in the same boat as the Beatbox. I can't think of any portable Bose product that delivers the goods, and I am one who likes Bose. If you stay in the Bose line the Wave products are the best of the bunch, though not portable per se. All of the reviews of the Beatbox are favorable. I would have it on all day and night for the next 3 days playing continuously at different levels to gain perspective if this is the right match for your ear. If not, take it back within 30 days and start over. I would hope you never settle.
