Opinion on how good this home system is for daily blu-rays and DVDs?
I just want an opinion on this home theater:
Hitachi HD ready TV 720i, 42 inches (I know thats crap lol)

Three of the JMlab Focal Chorus 726 S, the AAD C-10 subwoofer, and two bose speakers at the back. I have a 5.1 surround sound system. Please can you give an opinion on whether we should upgrade? Can you go a little more in detail about the amplifier? Thank you so much in advance!
If anything needs upgrading, I would upgrade the TV so that you can get the best picture for your Blu Ray. Your amp has upscaling to 1080i and your TV is only 720i, so even if you use the upscaler, your not getting the best picture.
The Amp will provide you decent sound as it does decode DTS, but it doesn't decode TRUEHD or DTS-Master which is what Blu Ray discs deliver. Your 5.1 system should not need an immediate upgrade because your receiver has a lot of features. I would keep it for a couple of years.
I would buy a new TV, run HDMI to the new TV to get the 1080p picture and run an Optical cable for sound to the amp so you can enjoy the most out of your Blu Rays and DVDs.
That's my suggestion.
