Trying to decide between Bose and Onkyo?
I was going to buy a $500 Bose home theater system or a $500 Onkyo theater system. I haven't heard Onkyo before but I heard Bose at bestbuy and it sounds real nice. How is the sound of Onkyo compared to Bose? I am wanting to use them for movies and gaming. I am deciding between these two.

That Bose system is garbage. It doesn't even come with a receiver, just 2 bookshelf speakers and a "bass module"(NOT A SUB).
The Onkyo system comes with a component grade receiver, 7 speakers, and a sub. Heck, they even give you an iPod dock as well! Onkyo has been around for a long time and they are known for their build quality.
The Onkyo system is a MUCH better value. Don't waste your money on that bose trash.
